Power/system health LED indicator
The power status and health condition of the server is indicated by the bicolor LED indicator found on the front
panel. Figure -5 and Table -3 show and describe the function of this LED.

Component Status Description
Steady green The server is operating normally.
Flashing red (2 blinks) Thermal event (THERMTRIP#).
Flashing red (3 blinks) No CPU.
Flashing red (4 blinks) Crowbar.
Power/system health LED indicator
Off The server is powered off.
Hard drive activity LED indicators
The status of hard drives installed in the server is indicated by the drive activity LED indicator located on the front
panel of the server.

Activity states for hard drives are as follows:
• Flashing green – Ongoing drive activity
• Off – No drive activity
