HP V220 Display
Purpose: The document is intended for use by end-of-life recyclers or treatment facilities. It provides the basic instructions for the
disassembly of HPI products to remove components and materials requiring selective treatment, as defined by EU directive
2002/96/EC, Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE).
NOTE: Recyclers should sort plastic materials into resin streams for recycling based on the ISO 11469 plastic marking code on the

1.0 Items Requiring Selective Treatment
1.1 Items listed below are classified as requiring selective treatment.

Step 1: Detach the cable from the display head.

Remove Stand Base

Step 2: Remove the stand base assembly from the display head.

Remove Rear Cover

Step 3: Remove the rear cover from the display head.

Remove Bracket Assembly

Step 6: Detach the bracket assembly from the display head.

Remove Interface and Power Boards

Step 8: Remove Interface BD and Power BD from the bracket assembly.

Disassemble Panel Assembly

Step 12: Disassemble the panel assembly into its components.
