6. Write down the 12 words in order on the included card. You can also use your own paper.
7. Enter the 12-word recovery phrase into the phone to confirm that you've written it down
correctly.
8. Keep your card or paper in a safe place. Do not share it or carry it with you, as someone with
your recovery phrase could access your wallet.
If your phone is lost, stolen, or reset, you'll need your 12-word recovery phrase to recover your
cryptocurrency and collectibles. If you lose your phrase, your wallet and its contents cannot be
recovered.
You can set up Social Key Recovery as an additional backup feature for your wallet.
Setting up Social Key Recovery
Social Key Recovery allows you to choose three to five trusted contacts who can help you recover
your wallet. Your trusted contact list is stored in Google Drive
. Once restored, your contacts can
accept recovery requests to help you recover your wallet.
1. From the Zion home screen, tap
Social Key Recovery Set up.
2. Select an account to back up your trusted contact list, then tap Continue.
Each Google Account can only be used for one wallet at a time.
3. Tap Share invitation and select the app you want to use to send the invitation to your trusted
contact.
Your contact will need to install Zion on their phone.
