To place a call or send a message to a favorite contact
On the Home screen, slide to the People tab.
Swipe your finger up or down the screen to
scroll through the favorite contacts.
Touch the area below the contact picture to
place a call, send a text message, or send an
e-mail to the favorite contact.

14. Sending a Text Message
Easily create and send SMS text messages from your device.
1. On the Home screen, slide to the Messages tab and tap .
2. In the To field, enter the mobile phone number of the person you want to
send the message to.
Tip You can also tap To to select a contact from your contacts list.
3. Compose your message and then tap Send.
15. Sending an MMS Message
Create and send multimedia messages that contain pictures, videos, and audio
clips.
On the Home screen, slide to the Messages tab and tap All Messages.
Tap Menu > New > MMS and then tap Custom.
