10.6 NaviPanel
NaviPanel offers you a convenient, one-touch access to Footprints, the phone, and
the GPS navigation software when you are using the device with the in-car holder.
When you put the device in the holder, NaviPanel automatically opens, and your
device will prompt you to connect to the default Bluetooth car kit or headset (Refer
to the “Set Up the Default Bluetooth Device to Connect to” in Chapter 9 for details).
Go to Footprints
Navigate to your
stored home
address in the
GPS software
Navigate to a
recent destination
stored in the GPS
software
Enter an address in the
GPS navigation software
and be directed there
Open the GPS
navigation software
Open the Phone
application
Notes • You can use other programs on your device while it is in the holder. While on
another program screen, press the FOOTPRINTS button to return to the NaviPanel.
• When your device is in the holder but is not connected to a Bluetooth car kit or
headset, the device’s speakerphone is automatically turned on when you make or
answer a phone call. To turn the speakerphone off during a call, see “Call Functions”
in Chapter 2.
