8. Make Your First Voice or Video Call
1. On the Home screen, tap Phone.
2. Tap the keys on the keypad to enter the phone number.
Tips If you tapped a wrong number, tap to erase each subsequent digit of a
number. To erase the entire number, tap and hold .
After dialling a number or answering a call, press the POWER button briefly
to turn off the display. This will help prevent accidental screen presses
during a phone call and also help to save battery power. To turn the display
back on, press the POWER button briefly again.
3. Press the TALK/SEND button to place the call.TALK/SEND button to place the call.
Tip When in a call, use the VOLUME UP/DOWN buttons on the side of the
device to adjust the phone volume.
You can also make a video call using your device if both you and the party
you want to call are using a 3G-enabled SIM card and are inside a 3G
coverage area.
To make a video call, dial the number of the person you want to start a
video call with and then tap Menu > Video Call.
