10. Creating and Sending a Text Message (SMS)
Create and send SMS or MMS messages on your device.
On the Home screen, slide to the Messages tab and tap the
New Message icon .
In To, enter the mobile phone number of the person you want to
send the message to.
Tip You can also tap To to select a contact from your Contacts list.

11. Creating and Sending a Multimedia Message (MMS)
Create and send multimedia messages on your device.
In the Home screen, slide to the Messages tab and tap All Messages.
Tap Menu > New > MMS and then tap Custom.
Enter the recipient’s mobile number or email address in To and enter
the Subject line.
Fill in the MMS message slide by tapping Insert picture/video,
Insert text here, and Insert audio.
Tap Send.
