l The eight FE interfaces work at 10 Mbit/s or 100 Mbit/s, in auto-sensing mode. The GE
interface works at 10/100/1000 Mbit/s, in auto-sensing mode.
l These interfaces support the half duplex mode and full duplex mode. The full duplex mode
is most commonly used.
Applications
The 8FE1GE can be installed into the WSIC slots of the AR1200, AR2220, AR2240, and
AR3260. On the AR1200, two SIC slots are combined into one WSIC slot.
AR1200 V200R001C00 does not support the 8FE1GE.

1 STAT Green If the indicator blinks once 2s (0.5 Hz),
the system is running properly.
If the indicator blinks once 0.25s (4
Hz), the system is powering on or
restarting.
Red If the indicator is red, a fault that affects
services occurs and cannot be rectified
automatically. The fault needs to be
rectified manually.
Off If the indicator is off, the software is not
running or is being reset.
