18. Cut the ground wire from the surge suppressor to an appropriate length for connecting to the dual ground
lug or lower ground strap.
It is good practice to cut the wire about 6in–15cm longer than the minimum required.
19. Strip about 1/2in–1 cm of insulation from the wire.
20. Insert the stripped wire into the unused terminal of the dual ground lug, or in the terminal of the lower
ground strap.
21. Tighten the terminal screw.
22. Secure the Cat5e cable and ground wire to the mounting platform using cable ties every 6in–15cm.
