4. Installing Cables and Grounds for the HES-319M
The diagram illustrates the wiring plan for the HES-319M. The tasks you need to carry out to complete the wiring
plan are listed below. Detailed instructions for each task are provided in following topics.
In all topics, ‘cable’ is synonymous with Cat5e cable. In the diagrams, the Cat5e cable is shown as red for illustrative
purposes only.
Task List
1. Confirm that the mount location satisfies all requirements listed in the Location Requirements Checklist in
the WiMAX Customer Premise Equipment Installation guide.
2. Review the grounding standards.
3. Shave the RJ-45 connector boot.
4. Install a surge suppressor.
