1. The power-on commissioning personnel must be at least two qualified electricians, one
performing operations while the other monitors the operations and warns off irrelevant persons.
2. Users are categorized as admin and operator. Admin users have more rights than operator
users.
3. Powering off the PDC disconnects the power supply to the downstream devices. Exercise
caution with this operation when the PDC is supplying power to a working system.

Power-On Commissioning
1. Check cable connections and mechanical performance.
a) Check that cables are connected correctly outside the cabinet. Check that all bolts are
secured for cables and tighten a bolt if it is loose.
b) Check that ground cables are properly connected.
2. Check the insulation.
a) Switch off the upstream circuit breaker QFS for the SPD in
the input module of the PDC, and switch on other circuit breakers.
b) Check that the insulation resistances of the power distribution
devices and feed circuit are no less than 0.5 megohm.
c) After checking, turn off all the circuit breakers.
3. Switch on the SPD circuit breaker
4. Switch on the input power
circuit breaker to power on the
PDC. If the power indicator on
the front panel of the PDC
lights up, the PDC is powered
on properly.
If the indicator of an SPD module
is green, the SPD module is
running properly. If an indicator is
red, the corresponding SPD
module has failed and must be
promptly replaced.
The input power circuit breaker refers to the output circuit breaker that controls power supply from
the upstream power distribution equipment to the PDC.
5. After the MDU screen starts, log in to the system as the Admin or Operator user (the preset
password is 000001 for both types of users)
