Why are my HunterDouglas EverWood Window Blinds operating slowly?
    • T
      Tina BooneAug 25, 2025
If your HunterDouglas Window Blinds are operating slowly or not tilting completely, the batteries in the battery wand, satellite battery wand, or C-size battery wand may be low. Try replacing the batteries. Also, ensure that the battery wand, satellite battery wand, C-size satellite battery wand, or 18V DC power supply is securely connected to the power cable and the cables are not pinched. If problems persist, the blind may need to be reset.

    • C
      Christopher MillerAug 28, 2025
If your HunterDouglas Window Blinds do not operate using the control button, try these steps: * Unplug the power cable from the motor, then plug it back in. A blue LED light inside the control button housing should flash if the motor has power. * Check the batteries in the battery wand, satellite battery wand, or C-size satellite battery wand to make sure they are correctly inserted and fresh. * Verify that the power source is securely connected to the power cable and that the cables are not pinched. * If you have a rechargeable battery wand, ensure it's correctly positioned in the mount.

What to do if HunterDouglas EverWood Window Blinds rechargeable battery wand is charged but doesn't work?
    • D
      Danielle HouseAug 29, 2025
If your rechargeable HunterDouglas Window Blinds battery wand is charged but the blind isn't working, the temperature in your window might be too high. The battery wand has a safety feature that shuts it off temporarily if the temperature exceeds 176°F (80°C). Once the temperature lowers, the battery wand will turn back on. Consider reinstalling the battery wand in a location that avoids direct sunlight if this consistently occurs.

    • K
      Krista GoodmanSep 8, 2025
If your SimpleLift with PowerView Gen 3 HunterDouglas Window Blinds bottom rail is not level or the blind height is incorrect, ensure that the headrail and installation brackets are level and aligned. Adjust or shim the installation brackets to level if necessary. To level the blind, turn the skew adjustment feature on the headrail clockwise with a coin or screwdriver, while lifting the weight from the bottom rail. If the blind height is too long, turn all skew adjustment features clockwise to raise the bottom rail to the desired height, while lifting the weight from the bottom rail.
