Hummer H2 Spare Tire Cover Installation
Thank you for the purchase of your new Hummer H2 spare tire cover. Please inspect your package contents
before beginning installation. Shown below is a list of installation hardware, faceplate, base plate and quantities:

Painting Instructions
We highly recommend that you paint the visible outside of your standard black ABS faceplate. It is not necessary
or recommended that you paint the black textured base plate. Painting must be completed before latch
assembly and insert installation. Your local auto parts store or body shop will be able to provide assistance
with obtaining the correct type and match of paint.
To paint faceplate:
a. Clean faceplate with a soap and water solution to remove dirt and other contaminates.
b. Sand painting surface with 320 grit sand paper.
c. Apply a coating of ABS compatible primer-adhesion promoter
d. Apply paint compatible with ABS as directed by the paint manufacturer
