Your Husqvarna Chainsaw engine might start and then stop due to several reasons: the fuel type could be incorrect, a clogged air filter, or a clogged fuel filter. To resolve this, drain the fuel tank and fill it with the correct fuel. Also, clean or replace the air filter and replace the fuel filter.

If your Husqvarna Chainsaw engine doesn't start, several factors could be the cause. The starter pawls might be blocked, requiring adjustment or replacement. Incorrect fuel type could be the reason, so drain the fuel tank and refill with the correct fuel. The fuel tank might be filled with chain oil; if you haven't tried starting it, drain the tank. A dirty or wet spark plug can also prevent starting, so ensure it's dry and clean. Also, check that the spark plug is not loose and tighten it. If the engine is flooded due to repeated starts with full choke after ignition, remove and clean the spark plug, put the product on its side with the spark plug hole away from you, pull the starter rope handle 6-8 times, assemble the spark plug and start the product.
