Why won't my Husqvarna Trimmer start?

Several factors can prevent your Husqvarna Trimmer from starting. It could be due to the stop switch being in the stop position, in which case you should let an approved service agent replace it. Other possible causes include incorrect fuel type (drain the tank and refill with the correct fuel), a dirty or wet spark plug (make sure it's clean and dry), an incorrect spark plug electrode gap (clean the spark plug and ensure the gap is correct, also check for a suppressor), a loose spark plug (tighten it), or a flooded engine from repeated starts with full choke (remove and clean the spark plug, lay the trimmer on its side with the spark plug hole away from you, pull the starter rope 6-8 times, then reassemble the spark plug and try starting).
