1. Disconnect the external hose (A) from the water
inlet.
2. Remove the water filter (B) with a flat screwdriver.
3. Do a check of the water filter. If it is necessary, clean
the water filter.
4. Install the water filter and connect the external hose.
To do a general inspection
• Make sure that the nuts and screws on the product
are tightened.
• Make sure that the cables on the product are not in a
position where they can become damaged.
• Examine the electrical parts for damage. Do not
operate a product that has damaged electrical parts.
• Examine the water hoses for leakage. Do not
operate a product that has damaged water hoses.
To adjust the tension of the drive belt
CAUTION: Make sure that the drive belt
is not damaged.
The tension of a new drive belt must be adjusted after 2
hours.
1. Loosen the 2 screws and remove the drive belt
cover.
2. Loosen the locknut (A).
3. Turn the tension screw to adjust the pressure of the
pulley against the drive belt. The tension of the drive
belt is correct when the drive belt frequency is in the
interval given in
Technical data on page 27
.
4. Tighten the locknut.
5. Install the drive belt cover and tighten the 2 screws.
To lubricate the product
Note:
The lever for the cutting depth wheel must
always be locked when the cutting depth wheel is not
in use.
