What to do if the Husqvarna K960 Ring blade slips?
- KKatherine BradshawJul 30, 2025
If the blade slips, it may be because the guide rollers aren't moving freely, preventing sufficient pressure against the drive wheel. Ensure the guide rollers move freely. Also, a worn drive wheel, often caused by abrasive material and insufficient water during cutting, can be the culprit, so replace the worn drive wheel if needed. If more than half of the guide roller flange is worn, replace the worn guide roller flange. Finally, inspect the blade for wear on the groove and inner edge, which can be caused by poor flushing of abrasive material or a worn drive wheel; replace the blade as necessary.
