SETTINGS AND ADJUSTMENTS
Replacing the mufer deadening material (TC-TE-TXC)
First turn counterclockwise fastening rear pin (1) then remove saddle, screws
(2) and L.H. side panel (3). Using an 8 mm T-shaped spanner on the outside
and a 10 mm T-shaped spanner on the inside, remove the locking screw (4) of
the mufer. Remove the spring (5) and with an 8 mm T-shaped spanner remove
the screw (8); then pull out the mufer.
Remove the six rear rivets (6), clamp and the exhaust terminal (7).
Remove innner pipe and replace the deadening material.
Reassemble L.H. side panel and saddle.
When diffuculties are found in removing the mufer, lightly beat with
a rubber or plastic hammer.
