How to fix Husqvarna Lawn Mower that will not start?
    • C
      Charles WilkinsAug 20, 2025
If your Husqvarna Lawn Mower will not start, several factors could be the cause. It might be out of fuel, so filling the fuel tank is a good first step. Alternatively, the engine could be flooded; in this case, wait a few minutes before trying to start it again. A bad spark plug, dirty air filter, or dirty fuel filter could also be the culprit, requiring replacement or cleaning. Water in the fuel can also prevent starting; if this is the case, empty the fuel tank and carburetor, refill with fresh gasoline, and replace the fuel filter. Finally, check for loose or damaged wiring. If none of these steps work, the engine valves may be out of adjustment, requiring assistance from a service center.

    • A
      amy76Aug 21, 2025
If your Husqvarna Lawn Mower engine will not turn over, make sure the brake pedal is depressed and the attachment clutch is disengaged. Other potential causes include a weak or dead battery (recharge or replace), a blown fuse (replace), corroded battery terminals (clean), or loose/damaged wiring (check). A faulty ignition switch or solenoid/starter might also be the problem and require checking or replacement. If these steps don't resolve the issue, the operator presence switch(es) may be faulty, requiring assistance from a qualified technician.

      Makayla MosleyAug 25, 2025
If your Husqvarna Lawn Mower is hard to start, consider these possible causes: a dirty air filter, which requires cleaning or replacement; a bad spark plug, which should be replaced; a weak or dead battery, needing a recharge or replacement; a dirty fuel filter, which should be replaced; or stale or dirty fuel, which means you should empty the tank and refill it with fresh gas. Also, check for loose or damaged wiring. If these steps don't resolve the issue, the engine valves may be out of adjustment and should be inspected by a qualified technician.

What to do if my Husqvarna TS 138 Lawn Mower has loss of power?
    • J
      Julia BuckAug 26, 2025
If your Husqvarna Lawn Mower engine loses power, it could be due to several reasons. You might be cutting too much grass or going too fast, so raise the cutting height and reduce speed. Ensure the throttle is not in the cold weather starting position; move it to the fast position. A build-up of grass under the mower, a dirty air filter, low or dirty oil, a faulty spark plug, or a dirty fuel filter could also be to blame. Other potential causes include stale or water-contaminated fuel, a loose spark plug wire, dirty engine air screen/fins, or a dirty/clogged muffler. Finally, check for loose or damaged wiring. If problems persist, the engine valves may need adjustment by a professional.

How to improve poor grass discharge from Husqvarna TS 138 Lawn Mower?
    • E
      Elizabeth PetersonSep 6, 2025
To resolve poor grass discharge with your Husqvarna Lawn Mower, ensure the engine speed is set to “FAST” and reduce your travel speed. Avoid mowing wet grass. Check if the mower deck is level and the tire pressure is correct. Also, inspect for a worn, bent, or loose blade, and clean any buildup of grass under the mower. A worn mower drive belt or improperly installed blades can also cause poor discharge. Make sure the blades are installed with the sharp edge down and are the correct ones for your mower. Finally, clear any clogs in the mower deck vent holes.
