Operator Presence Switch Adjustment
The operator presence switch will need to be adjusted if
the engine dies when the deck clutch is engaged and while
the park brake is disengaged:
For 36" mowers
1. Loosen the hardware that attach the plunger bracket
to the mower frame. Figure 4-12
2. Adjust the plunger bracket so that the spring is not
loose but it is not engaging the operator presence
switch. Figure 4-12
3. Tighten the plunger bracket hardware.
For 48"/52"/60" mowers
1. Loosen the hardware holding the operator presence
switch in place. Figure 4-13
2. Adjust the operator presence switch up or down as
necessary. Figure 4-13
3. Tighten the operator presence switch hardware.
