Adjusting Pole Length
Using the illustration as a guide (Figure 3), follow these steps to
install your spray gun in the gun mount:
Install the Spray Gun
1. Prepare your spray gun and uid delivery system for use.
2. Power down the uid pump and depressurize the spray gun
following your pump and spray gun manufacturers’ instructions.
3. Place the spray gun handle in the gun clamp and hold it against
the front side of the clamp.
4. Slide gun handle up or down to position the standoff near the
front and bottom edge of the trigger.
5. Tighten the clamp’s thumbscrew to hold the gun handle rmly
in place. Do not over-tighten the screw, which can bend the
screw or strip the screw threads.
6. Clip the uid hose into the clips on the QuickReach
®
spray pole.
Adjust the Standoff
1. Loosen the cable hold-down wing nut.
2. Position the standoff approximately 1/16-inch (1.6 mm) from the
trigger to allow a margin of safety so that the spray gun does not
discharge accidentally.
3. Tighten the cable hold-down wing nut.
Adjust the Spray Angle
1. Push release button.
2. Rotate the head assembly so the spray gun is oriented to spray
at the desired angle.
3. Release button.
Remove the Spray Gun
1. Power down the uid pump and depressurize the spray gun fol-
lowing your pump and spray gun manufacturers’ instructions.
2. Loosen the gun clamp thumbscrew and remove the spray gun
from the mount.
Follow these steps to extend or retract the telescoping
QuickReach
®
spray pole to meet your needs:
1. Turn the locking collar knob counterclockwise
about one turn (Figure 4).
2. Extend or retract the spray pole to the desired length.
3. Rotate the spray pole if needed so the spray gun is facing
in the correct direction (Figure 2).
