This manual contains an introductory description on

HYOSUNG PRIMA(SF-50) and procedures for its inspec-

tion/service and overhaul of its main components.

Other information considered as generally known is

not included.

Read GENERAL INFORMATION section to familiarize

yourself with outline of the vehicle and MAINTE-

NANCE and other sections to use as a guide for

proper inspection and service.

This manual will help you know the vehicle better so

that you can assure your customers of your optimum

and quick service.

What to do if the HYOSUNG Motorcycle has excessive brake lever stroke?

  If you're experiencing an excessive brake lever stroke on your HYOSUNG Motorcycle, several factors could be at play. It might be due to air in the hydraulic system, which requires bleeding the air out. Another cause could be insufficient brake fluid; in this case, replenish the fluid to the normal level and then bleed any air. The issue might also stem from using brake fluid of improper quality, necessitating a replacement with the correct fluid. Lastly, worn components such as the brake cam lever or excessively worn shoes and/or drum can lead to this problem, and replacement is the solution.

Why is my HYOSUNG Prima leaking brake fluid?

  If you notice brake fluid leaking from your HYOSUNG Motorcycle, it could be due to a few reasons. Check the connection joints and tighten them to the specified torque if they are insufficiently tightened. Alternatively, the hose might be cracked, requiring a replacement. A worn piston seal could also be the culprit, which would also require a replacement.
