Why does my Hyundai Welding System have a black welding spot?
    • E
      Eric WhiteAug 16, 2025
If you notice a black welding spot when using your Hyundai Welding System, it may be due to the welding spot not being adequately protected from oxidation. Ensure that the valve or argon cylinder is open and has sufficient pressure. If the cylinder pressure is below 0.5Mpa, refill it. Also, verify that the flow meter is open with a flow of at least 5 L/min to ensure sufficient gas coverage. Check the torch for blockages. A non-airtight gas circuit or impure gas can also lower welding quality, as can powerful airflows in the welding environment.

How to improve arc-striking on my Hyundai Welding System?
    • V
      veronicamossAug 26, 2025
If you're experiencing difficult and easily paused arc-striking with your Hyundai Welding System, ensure that you are using a high-quality tungsten electrode. Grind the end of the tungsten electrode to a taper to facilitate easier arc striking and a more stable arc.

What to do if fan is working but indicator is not lit in Hyundai Welding System?
    • A
      Alexa BryantAug 28, 2025
If your Hyundai Welding System's fan is working, but the indicator isn't lit, you can't hear the HF arc-striking sound, and wiping welding can't strike an arc, several components may be at fault. The voltage between the positive and negative electrodes of the VH-07 insert component should be about DC308V from the power panel to the MOS board. Additionally, a broken circuit or poorly contacted silicon bridge may be the cause. Check for leaking high electrolytic capacitors (470UF/450V) on the power panel. If the green indicator in the auxiliary power of the MOS board is off, the auxiliary power is out of order, and you should contact the seller. Also, check for poorly contacted connectors and a broken torch control cable. For control circuit issues, identify the cause or contact the seller.

Why is there too much spatter using MMA welding on my Hyundai Welding System?
    • S
      Sarah HoAug 31, 2025
If your Hyundai Welding System is producing excessive spatter during MMA welding, it could be due to the current being too high for the stick's diameter. Additionally, ensure that the output terminal polarity connection is correct. If it is wrong, change the polarity.

What to do if the Hyundai Welding System won't turn on?
    • W
      walter76Sep 3, 2025
If the power indicator is not lit, the fan isn't working, and there is no welding output from your Hyundai Welding System, verify that the electrify wire net (connected to the input cable) is working and check if the input cable is properly connected.

Why is the current unstable on my Hyundai Welding System?
    • P
      pearsonmeganSep 6, 2025
If the output current of your Hyundai Welding System is unstable or not controlled by the potentiometer, and it fluctuates between high and low, the 1K potentiometer may be damaged and need replacement. Also, check all connectors, especially inserts, for poor contact and ensure they are properly connected.

Why is the output current not to rated value on my Hyundai Welding System?
    • E
      ericafigueroaSep 9, 2025
The output current of your Hyundai Welding System might not reach the rated value if the power voltage deviates from the rated value.

Why is the current not stable when my Hyundai Welding System operates?
    • M
      Michael GomezSep 12, 2025
The current may be unstable during operation of your Hyundai Welding System if the electric wire net voltage has changed or if there is harmful interference from the electric wire net or other equipment.

What to do if power indicator is lit but fan doesn't work in Hyundai Welding System?
    • B
      blackbiancaNov 18, 2025
If the power indicator is lit, but the fan isn't working (or only revolves slightly), and there's no welding output from your Hyundai Welding System, the machine might be in protection mode because it's wrongly connected to a 380V power supply. Try connecting it to a 220V power supply. Unstable 220V power or an input cable connected to an electrified wire net can also trigger this; try increasing the cable section and tightening the input connector, then close the machine for 2-3 minutes before reopening. Also, check and tighten any loose cables from the switch to the power panel. Finally, avoid repeatedly opening and closing the power switch quickly. If the main circuit 24V relay of the power panel is not closing or is damaged, check the 24V power source and relay and replace the relay if...

Why is the abnormal indicator lit but there is no welding output in my Hyundai Welding System?
    • W
      wburkeNov 21, 2025
If the abnormal indicator is lit but there is no welding output from your Hyundai Welding System, first close the machine and allow the abnormal indicator to turn off, as it may be due to overheat protection. If that doesn't work, wait 2-3 minutes, noting that argon-arc welding does not have overheat protection. Then, try disconnecting the supply power plug of the main transformer on the MOS board (VH-07 insert near the fan) and restart the machine. If the indicator remains lit, turn off the machine, disconnect the supply power plug of the HF arc-striking power source (near the VN-07 insert of the fan), and restart. If the indicator is now off, the middle board transformer may be damaged; measure its inductance and Q volume using an inductance bridge. Low volume indicates damage, necessita...
