To fully configure SLED 11 to run on an IBM SurePOS 700 4800-7x2:
1. Install SLED 11 according to the documentation at http://www.novell.com/documentation/sled11/
index.html.
2. (4800-722 only) Configure the display:
a. Launch the terminal application from Init 3 text console mode.
b. To use the Intel video driver:
1) Open the /etc/X11/xorg.conf file in a text editor and modify the "Device" section to add (or
change) the following lines:
Section "Device"
Driver "intel"
Identifier "Device[0]"
Screen 0
VendorName "Intel"
Option "NoAccel" "yes"
