IBM Power 750 Express - Status Lights (FC 6134)

The position of the write-protect switch on the tape cartridge determines when you can write to the tape.
When the switch is set to the left in the SAVE position 1, data cannot be written to or read from the
tape (data is saved).
When the switch is set to the right in the REC (Record) position 2, data can be written to and read
from the tape.
