a) Push the drive tab (A) to release the drive lever (B).
b) Using the drive lever, pull the drive and ller about 2.5 cm (1 in) from the system.
c) Repeat steps “7.a” on page 21 through “7.b” on page 21 for the other drives and llers.
8. Label the front SAS cables and how they connect between the disk drive backplane and the SAS RAID
internal adapter. Record how the plugs and jacks are connected. Disconnect the front SAS cables
from the disk drive backplane by pressing the cable latch and unplugging the cable as shown in
Figure 21 on page 22.
