When the maximum number of HDD bays is eight, the RAID controller occupies a dedicated PCIe slot on
x3650 M3 and does not consume the regular PCIe slot. When 16 HDD bay configurations are used, the
number of available regular PCIe slots is three.
The ServeRAID BR10il v2 SAS/SATA Controller has the following specifications:

Supports RAID levels 0, 1, and 1E

3 Gbps throughput per port

Based on the LSI 1064E controller

PCI Express 2.0 x4 host interface

