Why won't the capacitor banks switch in on my Icar MICROmatic?

  If the Icar Portable Generator's controller doesn't switch in the capacitor banks, ensure the current transformer is correctly positioned upstream of all loads and power factor correction. Also, verify that the current transformer is enabled on phase L1 (R) and that the controller is not set to manual mode. If the amperage of the current transformer is lower than the sensitivity threshold, increase the load current or use a current transformer with an adequate primary ratio.

  If your Icar Portable Generator controller displays an unreal power factor, the current transformer may be enabled on the incorrect phase. Ensure it is positioned on phase L1 (R) as referred to in our cabinet. If the issue persists, the current transformer itself may be faulty and require replacement with a suitable one.
