TAG (SELECT SCAN) CHANNELS
TAG channels is Icom’s way of selecting and deselecting
channels to be scanned.

Push [MR] to select the memory mode
Push O, then push [TAG] to turn TAG channel ON or OFF
– A TAG symbol will appear when TAG is ON
– The TAG function is only available during scan operation
• HOW TO DELETE CHANNELS IN MEMORY
Push [MR] to select memory mode
Select the desired channel to delete
Push O, then push and hold [DEL]
– The screen will read: “- - - -”
Push u for most recent frequency used
Push t for frequency used longest ago (up to 10)
PROGRAM FREQUENCY INTO MEMORY
• SELECT THE DESIRED FREQUENCY
Push [CLR], then select the desired frequency by using the
keypad or by rotating the big dial on top
Push O, then push [MW]
– A memory bank will blink on screen
– Use the keypad or rotate the big dial to select the
desired place in the memory bank to store frequency
Push [ENT] to save and end
