frequency

When
communicating
through
a
repeater,
the
transmit
fre-
quency
is
shifted
from
the
receive
frequency
by
an
amount
determined
by
the
offset
frequency.

repeater
function

only)
The
U.S.A.
version
automatically
activates
the
repeater
set-
tings
(duplex
ON/OFF,
duplex
direction,
tone
encoder
ON/OFF)
when
the
operating
frequency
falls
within
or
outside
of
the
gen-
eral
repeater
output
frequency
range,
respectively.
The
offset
frequency
and
subaudible
tone
frequency
are not
changed
by
the
auto
repeater
function,
reset
these,
if
necessary.
