  Ensure the power cord is properly connected to a surge suppressor and that the surge suppressor is plugged into a grounded outlet. If you're using an AFCI-equipped outlet and the circuit breaker trips, consider purchasing an arc filter. Also, verify that the key is fully inserted into the console. If the power switch has tripped (protrudes), wait five minutes before pressing it back in to reset.

  First, check the power switch. If the switch has tripped, wait five minutes, then press it back in. Ensure the power cord is securely plugged in; unplug it, wait five minutes, then plug it back in. Also, try removing and reinserting the key from the console.

Why does ICON Health & Fitness Treadmill display stay on after removing the key?

  If the console displays remain lit after removing the key from the console, the treadmill might be in demo mode. To disable it, press and hold the Stop button for a few seconds. If the displays are still lit, you can turn off the demo mode.
