  First, ensure the power cord is properly plugged into both a surge suppressor and a grounded outlet. Then, make sure the key is fully inserted into the console. Check the power switch on the treadmill frame; if it's protruding, reset it by waiting five minutes before pressing it back in. Finally, the console might need activation; refer to assembly step 16 if you haven't activated it yet.
