  First, ensure the power cord of your ICON Health & Fitness Treadmill is securely plugged into a surge suppressor, and that the surge suppressor is connected to a properly grounded outlet. Then, verify that the key is fully inserted into the console. If the power switch has tripped (protrudes), wait five minutes before pressing it back in to reset.

Also, ensure the power cord is securely plugged in; if it is, unplug it, wait five minutes, and plug it back in again. Try removing and reinserting the key from the console. Lastly, check the alignment of the Magnet with the Reed Switch, ensuring a gap of about 1/8 inch (3 mm); adjust the Reed Switch if necessary by loosening and retightening the #8 x 3/4" Truss Head Screw.

  To correct an off-center or slipping walking belt on your ICON Health & Fitness Treadmill: * If the belt has shifted left, turn the left idler roller screw clockwise 1/2 turn. * If the belt has shifted right, turn the left idler roller screw counterclockwise 1/2 turn. If the belt slips, unplug the power cord after removing the key, then turn both idler roller screws clockwise 1/4 turn. The belt is correctly tightened when you can lift each edge 2 to 3 inches (5 to 7 cm) off the platform.

  If the console displays on your ICON Health & Fitness Treadmill aren't functioning correctly, first remove the key and unplug the power cord. Then, remove the five #8 x 3/4" Screws and carefully pivot off the Motor Hood. Also, ensure the Magnet is aligned with the Reed Switch with a gap of about 1/8 inch (3 mm). Adjust the Reed Switch if needed by loosening and retightening the #8 x 3/4" Truss Head Screw.

  If the walking belt on your ICON Health & Fitness Treadmill slows down when you walk on it, it might be overtightened. Remove the key and unplug the power cord. Using the hex key, turn both idler roller screws counterclockwise 1/4 of a turn. Properly tightened, you should be able to lift each edge of the belt 2 to 3 inches (5 to 7 cm) off the platform.

  If the incline on your ICON Health & Fitness Treadmill isn't changing correctly, hold down the Stop button and the Speed increase button, insert the key into the console, and then release the Stop button and the Speed increase button. Next, press the Stop button and then press the Incline increase or decrease button. The treadmill will automatically rise to the maximum incline level and then return to the minimum level.
