5.2. INTEGRATED PH CONTROLLER
The integrated pH-controller is supplied with a default factory calibration and programmed
with the following parameters:
SETPOINT pH= “7.2”
PRODUCT= “ACID” (pH MINUS)
IMPORTANT: In order for the pH to be regulated correctly, the Total Alkalinity of the pool
water must
be maintained in the range 80 – 120 ppm. Use a pool water test kit to check the
Total Alkalinity and manually adjust if necessary.
5.2.1. SETPOINT PROGRAMMING
Press “SET” key until the desired pH value appears in the SETPOINT display (red colour).
Only pH values in the range 7.0 – 7.8 will be able to be input.
5.2.2. SELECTION OF THE PRODUCT TO DOSE (ACID
or ALKALI)
The IDEGIS SALT ELECTROLYSIS SYSTEM with INTEGRATED pH/ORP CONTROL
has been factory set so that it can be used in the majority of existing pools without the need to
modify the internal settings. The system has been set in the factory to dose ACID (pH
minus). Should it be required, the control board in the system can be modified on site to dose
BASE or alkali (pH plus). In order to modify the system, place jumper printed as “J1” in
“ACIDO” position (to decrease pH) or “BASE” (to increase pH) according to the requirements
on site.
