Introduction
WARNING!

Do not remove the outer shell of the sealer.
Do not spill water into the sealer.
When pouring water samples into the Quanti-Tray*, follow instructions in the Quanti-Tray insert.

Only those who have carefully read and understood the cleaning instructions should attempt
to clean the inside of the sealer. For cleaning instructions, refer to the “Cleaning and Preventive
Maintenance” section of this manual.
If the Quanti-Tray Sealer PLUS is used in a manner not specified in the manual, protection provided by the Quanti-Tray Sealer
PLUS instrument may be impaired.
Overview
The Quanti-Tray* Sealer PLUS is a motor-driven, heated-roller instrument designed to seal water samples inside
Quanti-Trays. When used with Quanti-Trays and IDEXX reagents (such as Colilert*, Colilert*-18, Colisure*, Enterolert*,
Enterolert*-E, Enterolert*-DW, Pseudalert*, or HPC for Quanti-Tray*), or Quanti-Tray/Legiolert* with Legiolert, the
sealer automates the sample handling of bacterial enumeration.

Each Quanti-Tray Sealer PLUS comes with the base sealer unit, regional power cord, input shelf, one Quanti-Tray*
Rubber Insert (blue), one Quanti-Tray/2000 Rubber Insert (black), MPN tables, and this user manual. Use only the
blue or black rubber inserts with the Quanti-Tray Sealer PLUS.
Note: Additional Quanti-Tray Rubber Inserts, including the Quanti-Tray/Legiolert rubber insert, are available separately.
