OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Appliance Location
Where to position your dehumidier?
For best results; position the dehumidier somewhere central like a landing or
a hallway. As long as the internal doors are open, the excess moisture from all
the rooms in the house will migrate naturally towards the dehumidier and be
processed.
Note: A dehumidier operating in a basement will have little or no effect
in drying an adjacent enclosed storage area, such as a closet, unless there is
adequate circulation of air in and out of the area.
Note: For the rst use of the appliance, it is recommended to run the
dehumidier continuously for a full 24 hours.
• Plug the appliance into a suitable wall socket – the appliance will beep once
and will remain in standby mode.
• Press the Stand-By button to switch on the appliance.
Note: Make sure that the water tank is in the correct position. If the Tank Full
indicator illuminates, remove the tank and replace it in the correct position.
• The LED display will automatically display the Relative Humidity of the room;
you can now select the desired function:
• Place the unit in an upright position on a
dry, stable and at surface.
• The dehumidication will be most
efcient when the unit is operated in an
enclosed area, with external doors and
windows closed.
Note: If you experience interference
from other household appliances, such as a
television or radio, move the dehumidier at
least 70cm away.
• Allow at least 20cm of air space on
all sides of the unit to ensure good
circulation, and at least 40cm of space
next to the air outlet
