The iglooworks Padlock E is a smart padlock designed for secure access management without the need for physical keys. It offers multiple modes of access, robust security features, and convenient management through a mobile application.

Function Description:

The Padlock E functions as a secure, keyless locking device, primarily controlled via PIN codes and Bluetooth keys. It is designed for various applications where traditional keys are inconvenient or less secure, offering remote access management and activity logging. The padlock features a keypad for PIN code entry and can be unlocked via Bluetooth through the iglooworks mobile app. It supports different types of user PIN codes, including One-Time, Permanent, Recurring, and Duration-based codes, which can be generated and shared via the app. Bluetooth keys provide an alternative unlocking method, also managed through the app. The device incorporates security features such as a security lockout that disables the keypad after several incorrect access attempts and an auto-lock function that automatically locks the shackle when closed. A manual relock option is also available. For enhanced security, a decoy PIN code feature allows users to enter random digits before or after the actual PIN code. The padlock also includes an obstruction alarm, which sounds if the shackle cannot lock or unlock due to an obstruction. An audit trail logs up to 300 activities, providing a record of lock usage. The device is equipped with a low battery alert and an emergency jumpstart feature using a 9V alkaline battery or a USB-C cable connected to a power bank, ensuring access even when the main battery is drained.
