IMPORTANT:
STARKVIND air purier can be used as a standalone
device and also works together with TRÅDFRI
Gateway and the IKEA Home smart app.
QUICK GUIDE
IfyouhaveanIOSdevice:
Go to the App Store and download the IKEA Home
smart app. The app will take you through the
process of adding STARKVIND air purier to your
TRÅDFRI Gateway.
IfyouhaveanAndroiddevice:
Go to Google Play and download the IKEA Home
smart app. The app will take you through the
process of adding STARKVIND air purier to your
TRÅDFRI Gateway.
Pairing: Adding STARKVIND air purier to your
TRÅDFRI Gateway.
STARKVINDairpurierE2007:
You will nd the pairing button by removing the
front cover.
The range between the gateway and the receiver
are measured in open air.
Dierent building materials and placement of the
units can aect the wireless connectivity range.
If the app can't connect your air purier to the
gateway, then try to move the air purier closer to
your gateway.
Fan speed control
The fan speed can be regulated between 1 to 5 and
Auto mode.
Auto mode
In Auto mode, the product selects the fan speed in
accordance with the ambient air quality.
The air quality sensor is active and measures PM 2.5
particles when the air purier is running.
Only in the IKEA Home smart app.
Indicators for air quality (PM 2.5):
Green: 0-35 / Good
Amber: 36-85 / OK
Red: 86- / Not good
Operational temperature: 0°C to 40°C.
Humidity when operational: 10 to 60% RH
(Recommended operational humidity: 40-60% RH)
When STARKVIND air purier is connected to the
mains for the rst time, the LED lights on the
control panel light up in succession. When the LED
lights stop illuminating, the product is ready to use.
Press the control knob to put it in Auto mode, or
turn to the desired level. Press the knob again to
turn it o.
A long press activates the Control lock. It can also
be controlled from the app IKEA Home smart.
Care instructions
Unplug the product before cleaning.
To clean the product, wipe with a soft damp cloth.
Use another soft dry cloth to wipe dry.
Vacuum clean the pre-lter regularly.
Note!
Never use abrasive cleaners or chemical solvents
since these can damage the product.

Vacuum clean the air quality sensor regularly.
Filter replacement
When replacing the lter, it is essential that the user
proceeds as follows:
One LED light illuminated on the control panel
indicates that you should check your lters.

Warning!
The power supply cord must be disconnected
during lter replacement!
1. Disconnect the power and wait until the fan has
stopped.
2. Remove the pre-lter and clean the pre-lter with
a vacuum cleaner or with water depending on
how dirty it is.
3. Remove lter(s), and handle used lters carefully.
Dispose of the lter(s) in accordance with local
environmental regulations for waste disposal.
4. Clean the inside, removing all dust and dirt.
5. Insert the new lter(s). (Touch only the frame of
the gas lter).
