How to fix Image Treadmill when the power does not turn on?
    • C
      cassandra38Aug 12, 2025
If the Image Treadmill's power does not turn on, make sure that the power cord is plugged into a surge suppressor, and that the surge suppressor is plugged into a properly grounded outlet. Use only a single-outlet surge suppressor. After the power cord has been plugged in, make sure that the key is fully inserted into the console. Check the reset/off circuit breaker located on the treadmill frame near the power cord. If the switch protrudes, the circuit breaker has tripped. To reset it, wait five minutes and then press the switch back in.

Why does my Image Treadmill walking belt slow down when I walk on it?
    • M
      Matthew BellAug 25, 2025
If the Image Treadmill's walking belt slows down when you walk on it, and it feels overtightened, it may decrease treadmill performance and damage the walking belt. Use only a single-outlet surge suppressor that meets all of the specifications. If the walking belt is overtightened, remove the key and unplug the power cord. Using the allen wrench, turn both rear roller bolts counterclockwise, 1/4 of a turn. When the walking belt is properly tightened, you should be able to lift each edge of the walking belt 2 to 3 inches off the walking platform. Be careful to keep the walking belt centered. Then, plug in the power cord, insert the key, and run the treadmill for a few minutes.
