e circulator (M1) and 3-way valve (M30) work for 30 seconds subsequent to:
- 24 hours of being idle with the CAR SUMMER/WINTER selector on SUMMER.
- 3 hours of being idle with the CAR SUMMER/WINTER selector on WINTER.

To prevent the water-gas exchanger from overheating if the pump blocks or there is poor
circulation in the primary circuit, when the central heating delivery NTC probe (B1)
measures an increase in temperature higher than 5°C a second, the burner is switched off.
It starts again when delivery temperature drops below 43 °C.

In the event the contact of the overheating safety thermostat opens, boiler operation is
stopped. To start the boiler again, turn the main selector switch (R10) round to “Reset”
or press the “Reset” button on the CAR followed by a d.h.w. or central heating request.

In the event of the flue pressure switch contact opening with the fan working, boiler
operation is stopped.
If normal conditions are restored, the boiler starts again without having to be reset.
If it is closed with the fan off, it does not enable the start of the ignition cycle

If, within 10 seconds from the start of the ignition cycle, the detection electrode (E2) has
not detected the flame on the burner, boiler operation is stopped. e integrated board
effects 2 ignition attempts lasting 10 seconds with a 30 second interval in between after
which it shuts down.
To start the boiler again, turn the main selector switch (R10) round to “Reset” or press the
“Reset” button on the CAR followed by either a d.h.w. or central heating request.
Note: e malfunction can be reset up to 5 consecutive times after which the function is
inhibited for at least one hour, gaining one attempt each hour or gaining 5 attempts by
putting the boiler on Stand-by (
) or cutting power to the circuit.
No ignition block
In the event of high resistance of the system pressure switch, safety thermostat or flue
pressure switch contact (not completely closed or worn), the integrated board effects a reset
and starts a new contact verification cycle; if, after 6 such cycles the problem persists,
boiler operation is stopped.
To start the boiler again, turn the main selector switch (R10) round to “Reset” or press
the “Reset” button on the CAR (only when the E02 error code appears) and then effect a
d.h.w. or heating request.

In the case of dispersion of the detection circuit or a malfunction with flame control that
generates an ionisation current lasting at least 20 seconds, boiler operation if stopped.
To start the boiler again, turn the main selector switch (R10) round to “Reset” or press
the “Reset” button on the CAR (only when the E02 code error appears) and then effect a
d.h.w. or heating request.
