Accessing this menu, the unit goes into stand-
by. By selecting every single parameter, you can
activate a specic function for each load.

M 01 Venting
In the case of new central heating systems and in particular mode for oor
systems, it is very important that deaeration is performed correctly. e
function consists of the cyclic activation of the pump and the 3-way valve.
e function lasts for 18 hours and can be interrupted by pressing the "ESC"
button and setting the function to "OFF".
Activation of the function is signalled by the countdown shown on the
indicator (14).

3.11 "CHIMNEY SWEEP" FUNCTION.
If activated, this function makes the indoor
unit work at an adjustable power. In this state
all adjustments are excluded and only the safety
thermostat and the limit thermostat remain
active. is function can be activated without
any requests and in the absence of CAR
V2
. To
activate the chimney sweep function, select the
“Winter” mode, in the absence of DHW and
central heating requests, and press the “Reset”
button for 8 seconds. Its activation is signalled
by the relative symbol (17-18 ashing Fig. 31).
Once activated, the chimney sweep function
in heating mode is enabled from a zone room
thermostat.
For the chimney sweep function in DHW mode,
aer activation, open a tap and draw some do-
mestic water.
is function allows the technician to check
the combustion parameters. Aer the checks
deactivate the function, switching the appliance
o and then on again using the Mode.
3.12 PUMP ANTILOCK FUNCTION.
e indoor unit has a function that starts the
pump at least once every 24 hours for the dura-
tion of 30 seconds in order to reduce the risk of
the pump becoming blocked due to prolonged
inactivity.
3.13 3WAY ANTILOCK FUNCTION.
Both in "DHW" and in "DHW-system central
heating" mode, the heat generator has a func-
tion that activates the motorised 3-way unit 24
hours aer the last time it operated by running
a complete cycle in order to reduce the risk of
the 3-way locking up due to prolonged inactivity.
3.14 RADIATORS ANTIFREEZE
FUNCTION.
If the system return water is close to freezing,
the appliance starts up until it reaches a safety
temperature.
3.15 SOLAR FUNCTION.
Should the photovoltaic contact (contact "S39"
Fig. 5) be closed, the minimum outdoor temper-
ature is temporarily set at -15°C.
Attention: this is only true with DHW adjust-
ment ≤ 50 °C.
3.16 OUTDOOR UNIT DISABLE
FUNCTION.
With a closed contact (contact "S41" Fig. 5), the
operation of the outdoor unit is inhibitedof the
outdoor unit is inhibited.
3.17 PREHEATING FUNCTION.
In case of a heating request, if the water temper-
ature is lower than 20 °C, the operation of the
heat generator is forced until 25 °C are reached.
