Troubleshooting / Error Messages
The Wey-TEK control handpiece and Charging Module display various error
messages to let you know when there is a problem with the scale or its operation.
Refer to the chart below for information on the error messages.

Over Range The weight on the
weighing platform is
greater than the
capacity of the scale
(100 kg/220 lb).
Remove the weight.
Do not exceed 100
kg/220 lbs of weight.
Over Range
Remove Weight
The scale cannot
automatically Tare
because the scale’s
capacity was
exceeded when the
scale was powered
on.
Remove the weight.
Do not exceed 100
kg/220 lbs of weight.
Voltage too High The line voltage into
the Charging Module
exceeds 15.5 volts.
This can potentially
damage the scale and
charging module.
Find a different outlet
to plug the AC/DC
power adapter into.
Voltage too Low The line voltage into
the Charging Module
is below 10 volts. This
can potentially
damage the scale and
charging module.
Find a different outlet
to plug the AC/DC
power adapter into.
