Why is my Ingersoll-Rand Air Conditioner not producing warm or cool air?
- EEric RobinsonAug 18, 2025
If your Ingersoll-Rand Air Conditioner isn't producing warm or cool air, check the following: Ensure the temperature setting on the remote is appropriately higher or lower than the current room temperature. Make sure the air filter isn't clogged with dirt. If you've just turned the unit on, allow 3 minutes for the anti-short cycle timer to expire. Confirm that airflow isn't obstructed, the line size and length are correct, and the operating mode is set to heat or cool. If it's not producing warm air, verify it's not accidentally set to Cool mode. Also, ensure the remote control is compatible and that the unit isn't installed in direct sunlight; if it is, use curtains or shades.
