necessary if only one innovaphone PBX with home users is connected, which use the
telephones IP110/IP200/IP230. However it makes sense should you want to administer external
users centrally, who are for example registered to an IP302. Examples for the use of
gatekeeper licenses:
- 5 branch offices with conventional telephone system technology are integrated into
the head office over IP using innovaphone media gateways.
- The operator of an IP-Centrex system based on innovaphone components
connects his clients with the help of an innovaphone media gateway and wants to
administer the media gateways centrally.
: Basic-LIC: enables the installation of PBX and voice mail LIC. It is the basic requirement to
operate an innovaphone media gateway as a PBX. The size of the license will be chosen
dependant on the number of necessary registrations to the PBX. An approximate guideline can
be calculated by taking the number of users/ connected devices incl. fax and DECT handsets
etc. plus 10-15%.
: PBX-LIC: enables the connection/registration of an end device to the innovaphone PBX. The
order quantity is always 10 LIC.
: VoiceMail-LIC: enables the activation of the innovaphone voicemail. The order quantity must
be identical to the number of basic licenses which are installed on the device.
All licenses are committed to the MAC address of the device, on which it is installed.

Maintenance contracts
In July innovaphone started to provide maintenance contracts as an additional service. These
contracts offer you high safety for your installed system, seeing as you will in this way quickly recover
to a running system, should the system fail. The contract duration can be determined by you.
