Press the power button to turn on the fryer, adjust the settings, and then press the power button again to start. Also, the air fryer won’t turn on unless the pan is fully inserted. Make sure to slide the pan into the fryer properly.

  If you cannot slide the pan into your Insignia Fryer properly, it may be because there is too much food in the basket. Do not fill the basket beyond the MAX indication. Also, the basket may not be placed in the pan correctly. Push the basket down into the pan until you hear a click.
