What to do if my Instant Fryer will not turn on?
If your Instant Fryer isn't turning on, there are a few things to check. First, ensure the power cord is firmly plugged into the outlet. Next, test the outlet by plugging another appliance into it to see if the circuit is working. Finally, make sure the basket is fully inserted into the air fryer.
Why is black smoke coming from my Instant Fryer?
Black smoke can appear due to several reasons. It might be caused by using an oil with a low smoke point. In this case, cancel the Smart Program, unplug the cooker, and let it cool. Then, select a neutral oil with a high smoke point, like Canola, Avocado, Soybean, Safflower, or Rice Bran. Another cause could be food residue on the heating coil, in the cooking chamber, or on the accessories. If so, cancel the Smart Program, unplug the cooker, let it cool, remove all accessories, and thoroughly clean the cooking chamber and all accessories. Why is white smoke coming from my Instant VORTEX AIR?
White smoke can occur for a few reasons. It may be due to cooking foods with a high fat content, such as bacon, sausage, and hamburger. To solve this, avoid air frying foods with a high fat content and check the cooking chamber for excess oil or fat, removing it as needed before air frying. Another reason might be water vaporizing, producing thick steam. To prevent this, pat dry moist food ingredients before air frying and do not add water or other liquids to the cooking chamber. Also, seasoning on food blown into the element may cause this problem. Be mindful when seasoning food. Spray vegetables and meats with oil before seasoning to help the seasoning stick.
