3.4 Operating instructions
The figure below shows the outline of the front plate of the AC40 including buttons, dials and display:
The following table describes the functions of the various buttons and dials.
For live voice speech and talk forward instruction to the patient in
the test cabin. Can be deattached and stored in the compartment
under the display.
Speaker
For speech feedback from the patient in the test cabin. To adjust
the TB / monitor levels, hold down the TB / monitor button and use
left/right totary wheels to adjust the level.

For speech feedback from the patient in the test cabin. To adjust
the TB / monitor level, hold down the monitor button and use
left/right totary wheels to adjust the level.
For displaying the different test screens. Will be further explained
in the sections describing the individual tests.
Channel 1
Indication light is seen when a tone stimuli is presented to the
patient on channel 1 (“Stim”).
Channel 2
Indication light is seen when a tone stimuli is presented to the
patient on channel 2 (“Stim”).
