NAS settings 
You can use a network storage system (NAS) to remotely store recordings. To 
configure record settings, please ensure that you have the network storage device 
within the network. 
The NAS disk should be available within the network and correctly configured to store 
the recorded files, log files, etc. 
Notes: Up to eight NAS disks can be connected to the camera. 
To set up a NAS system: 
1.  From the menu toolbar, click Configuration > Storage > NAS.  
2.  Enter the IP address of the network disk and the file path.  
3.  Configure the Mounting Type as NFS or SMB/CIFS. If you select SMB/CIFS, you 
can enter the user name and password. 
 
4.  Click Save to save changes. 
Snapshot parameters 
You can configure scheduled snapshots and event-triggered snapshots. The captured 
snapshots can be stored in the SD card (if supported) or the NAS. You can also upload 
the snapshots to an FTP server. 
Note: If you have configured the FTP settings and check Upload Picture in the FTP 
tab, the snapshots will be uploaded to the FTP. If you also check Upload Snapshot for 
motion detection or alarm input, the snapshots will be uploaded to the FTP when 
motion detection or an alarm input is triggered. 
To set up snapshots: 
1.  From the menu toolbar, click Configuration > Storage > Snapshot.
