The left side of the HUD ashes Green, Yellow and Yellow LEDs.
To acknowledge the evacuation signal, the user presses the black backlight button
two times or presses and holds the black backlight button on the DDU and then
simultaneously presses the red alarm button.
When the signal is acknowledged the alarm sound is switched off. The display
continues to ash and alternates between “EVAC !!!” and normal display.
NOTE! IF THE RED ALARM BUTTON IS PRESSED BEFORE THE BACKLIGHT BUTTON, OR IF THE BACKLIGHT BUTTON
IS RELEASED BEFORE THE RED ALARM BUTTON IS PRESSED, THE UNIT WILL BE PUT IN PASS ALARM MODE. RE-SET
THE PASS ACCORDING SECTION 6.3 AND THEN ACKNOWLEDGE THE EVACUATION SIGNAL.
A ashing battery symbol next to the antenna symbol indicates if there is a low
battery condition in the telemetry unit. When this warning starts there is a minimum of
2 hours of operation remaining.
