  To resolve leaks from the inlet threaded air connector or air jet valve on your Intex Swimming Pool, tighten or reinstall the plunger valve. Ensure the air jet valve is tight and facing up. If the internal seal is blocked or dirty, turn the pump ON and OFF for a few seconds, repeating three times, or remove the air jet valve, flush out dirt with water, and replace it. If the air jet valve is broken, replace it.

  If sand is flowing back into your Intex Swimming Pool, it may be because the sand is too small. Use only No. 20 silica sand with a particle size range of 0.45 to 0.85 mm (0.018 to 0.033 inches) and a Uniformity Coefficient less than 1.75. Alternatively, the sand bed may be calcified, in which case you should change the sand.

  If the inlet threaded air connector or air jet valve of your Intex Swimming Pool is leaking, tighten or reinstall the plunger valve. Ensure the air jet valve is tight and facing up. If the air jet valve internal seal is blocked, turn the pump ON and run for a few seconds, then turn OFF, repeat 3 times. If the air jet valve internal seal is dirty, remove the air jet valve, flush dirt out with water, and replace the valve back. If the air jet valve is broken, replace it with a new one.
